- Product Introduction
TITAN main units, TITAN Battery 5kWh, and SHP10 each come with a 5-year warranty, providing long-term coverage for your power station, expansion batteries, and home connection equipment. Refer to the official warranty policy for your region for coverage details.
TITAN is designed with home use in mind. In testing at an ambient temperature of 77°F (25°C), measured from 3.3 feet (1 meter) away, TITAN Classic operates below 30dB at 2,000W output. TITAN operates below 39dB at 3,600W, and TITAN Plus operates below 39dB at 5,000W. These figures reflect the specified test load for each model. Actual sound levels vary with the load and cooling needs.
TITAN uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, known for their thermal stability, along with a battery management system and multiple electrical protections to monitor and manage operation. TITAN main units carry UL 2743, UL 1973, and UL 9540 certifications; TITAN Battery 5kWh carries UL 1973 certification. The equipment is suitable for homes and garages that meet its placement requirements: a dry, ventilated indoor location within the specified temperature range.
No. With a system configuration that supports the relevant features, you can set your daily operating strategy and adjust your self-consumption level in the EcoFlow app. The system then manages solar, stored energy, and household demand according to your settings, without requiring you to control each charge or discharge cycle. Storm mode adds another layer of preparation. When enabled, it starts charging the battery to 100% ahead of a supported severe weather event detected by the system, helping you prepare for a possible outage.
You can recharge with solar panels connected directly to TITAN, as long as they meet its input requirements. You can also use an EcoFlow or third-party generator with the included AC charging cable. That gives you ways to replenish energy during a longer outage, in addition to expanding your battery capacity. A conventional rooftop solar system connected to the grid shuts down during an outage for anti-islanding protection, so it cannot continue charging TITAN through that existing connection. For solar recharging during an outage, use panels connected directly to TITAN's solar input.
Yes. With the system properly installed and the TITAN main unit powered on, TITAN + SHP10 switches automatically within 20ms of a grid outage to power the connected backup circuits. You don't need to find your way to the electrical panel in the dark to make the switch yourself. When TITAN is used on its own with appliances connected directly, its EPS function switches to battery power within 10ms of a utility power interruption. The standalone unit and the TITAN + SHP10 system have different transfer times.
If you're using TITAN on its own to power appliances directly, you can follow the product guide to set it up. Installing and wiring SHP10 into your home's electrical system requires a qualified, licensed electrician. You can hire your own qualified local installer and provide the relevant installation guide. TITAN's modular design and SHP10's prewired construction reduce the assembly work your electrician needs to complete on-site.
More of the preparation is done before the system reaches your home. TITAN uses an all-in-one, floor-standing main unit, while SHP10 integrates circuit breakers, monitoring, and prewired connections. That reduces the parts your installer needs to source, the wiring they need to prepare, and the assembly they need to complete on-site. Less on-site work can mean a shorter installation and lower labor costs. Your actual labor charge depends on your home's conditions and your installer's quote. The advantage comes from reducing the work involved, so the final installation price will vary by home.
Yes. You can plug appliances directly into the appropriate outputs on the TITAN main unit. Adding SHP10 connects TITAN to up to 10 selected household circuits for automatic backup and circuit management. TITAN and TITAN Plus can also use AC coupling for everyday home energy management. You can start by powering appliances directly or choose a setup that connects to your home's circuits.
Yes. You don't have to buy all your capacity upfront. Each TITAN main unit includes a 5kWh battery and supports up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh expansion batteries, for a total capacity of 30kWh. Start with the backup you need today, then add stored energy as your household's needs change. Expansion batteries require the appropriate connection cables, sold separately. Adding batteries increases stored energy and runtime capacity; it does not change the main unit's rated output power.
Yes. TITAN and TITAN Plus deliver 7.2kW of 120V/240V output and can directly start and run a compatible 3-ton central air conditioner without an added soft starter, provided its startup requirements are within the unit's capabilities. TITAN Plus delivers up to 10kW when battery and solar supply power together. With SHP10, you can connect up to 10 selected household circuits for automatic backup, helping keep essentials such as air conditioning, refrigeration, and lighting powered. TITAN Classic is designed for 120V essentials such as refrigerators, lights, and communications equipment. The appliances you run together need to stay within your model's operating and startup power capabilities.
Yes—especially if your home produces extra solar energy during the day but still buys higher-cost electricity in the evening. TITAN and TITAN Plus paired with SHP10 let you keep more of that daytime solar for use at night or during peak-rate hours, helping you get more value from the solar you already produce. That's the value of adding storage in this situation: bridging the gap between when your panels generate electricity and when your household needs it. Actual savings depend on your rate plan, solar production, and energy use.
Yes. You don't need solar to use TITAN. You can charge it from the grid and have energy ready for an outage, then add compatible solar panels that connect directly to the unit later if you choose. If your utility offers time-of-use rates, TITAN or TITAN Plus with the appropriate home connection setup can also charge during lower-cost hours and discharge during higher-cost hours to reduce peak-rate purchases. If you pay the same rate throughout the day, focus first on the backup protection it can provide.
Paired with SHP10, TITAN and TITAN Plus can help in two ways: store surplus solar energy to reduce grid purchases later, and work with time-of-use rates by charging when electricity costs less and using stored energy when rates are higher. Through AC coupling, everyday energy management can serve your home beyond the selected circuits protected during an outage. That means the system can put your solar energy and lower-cost electricity to work even when the grid is running normally.
Yes. TITAN or TITAN Plus paired with SHP10 can work alongside a compatible existing home battery system through AC coupling, adding storage capacity and backup options while preserving your original investment. It's a way to expand around the system you already own. Wanting more storage doesn't have to mean replacing your entire setup. The connection design will depend on your existing equipment and home configuration.
Yes. Paired with SHP10, TITAN and TITAN Plus use AC coupling to work alongside compatible existing rooftop solar. They store daytime solar energy you aren't using right away, so you can use it in the evening or during peak hours. This approach lets you keep your existing panels and inverter while adding storage and energy management. You don't have to start by replacing your solar system. Your installer will confirm the appropriate connection setup.
